Galveston Bay · San Leon, Texas
Where the day ends over the water.
The Bay
San Leon is a small peninsula community on the Texas coast, tucked between Kemah and Bacliff on the northwest shore of Galveston Bay. It’s the kind of place where the pace slows down — bait camps instead of boardwalk crowds, oysters off the boat, and a front-row seat to some of the best sunsets on the upper Texas coast.
Days here revolve around the water: casting off the pier, crabbing with the kids, idling out the channel at first light, or doing absolutely nothing on the porch while the sky does its evening show over the bay.
